"Animal Yoga: African Adventure is an super fun Yoga workout for kids 4 years old and up, and a great introduction for toddlers as well. But it's more than that - it's a playful blend of live action and animation with a catchy, hip-hop soundtrack. The story follows Wasabi Sunshine (Hamilton) and Lil Chi (fellow Yoga teacher Natalie Macias) as they travel to Africa with the help of a pair of magical binoculars. There are Yoga poses in animal form performed by both instructors and kids (you might recognize Monkey as a giddy version of Vrksasana, or Tree Pose, for example), but there's also dance break and a segment where kids get to view the world upside down. In addition there's vocabulary to learn, a quick education in the origins of Yoga and a special message during Shavasana (Relaxation Pose). I saw you in Whole Life Times. I hope you come out with more in the series soon. I think this is a great idea. Not just to keep the kids' interest, but because my non-spiritual friends will be less threatened by this format!

I wanted to let you know that my sister called to tell me that Alena(4 yrs. old) loved Animal Yoga...that should really mean alot because Alena is a very, very tuff critic. One of the harshest I believe. Really, if she doesn’t like a title, she will just pop it out of the DVD player right away, there it goes, gone forever.....but, this was indeed not the case with Animal Yo. She really liked it Angela said. Thus, again, good work Hamilton!

My kids (ages 8, 5, 4) watch the video 4 to 5 times a night.

My 7 year old son finds the Animal Yoga video magical. My 10 year old son is more into the technique of the yoga poses. They did it twice in a row upon opening the package.
